Every July, over 70 children have an opportunity to become a better archer. By bringing together dozens of volunteers, archery experts, and sponsors, youth archers are provided an opportunity to learn and improve archery skills.
The week long camp is held at Santa Claus Camp and Conference Center, located in Santa Claus, Indiana. The camp provides bunkroom housing with separate units for boys, girls, and volunteers. With complete kitchen facilities, all meals are served on-site. The beautiful venue includes a lake, fields, and a large wooded area with hiking trails. This setting allows us a multitude of stations for different archery experiences.
Campers are taught bowfishing, NASP, 3D archery, and crossbows. To be the best, campers are taught by the best, and Archery Camps USA expert volunteers travel from Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, and many other locations around the country to provide archery instruction. Experts in each discpline volunteer their talents to train campers, and after training, camper skills are put to the test. The highlight of camp is the opporutnity to bowfish on the Ohio River and in the waterways in Southern Indiana.
To conclude camp week, the awards ceremony recognizes the efforts of all campers and celebrates excellence of the top archers. Parents are invited to attend, and with the generosity of our sponsors, campers leave with a new admiration for archery.
